This is an interesting strategy! I'm not planning on implementing it as I like the draft-writing strategy I currently use. However, I may implement this strategy in little bits.

Lowercasing the first word of every sentence makes you pay attention when the editing comes around. Wouldn't want to miss capitalizing any in the editing process...

This helps you spot more of the minute errors that can get overlooked.
