I write blogs on my Wordpress site first, and then back post here on Medium. This is a good strategy for SEO because you can use the built in SEO tools (for free) on Wordpress to improve your article before posting on here.

One additional benefit to writing on Medium is there is an active audience on here for virtually every topic. Simply search any topic, find articles, read them, and engage/respond to the content. You'll be able to build an audience relatively quickly...
